Driveline vibration - check trans shaft end

Mike,

Pull the drive line out again. Check the end of the transmission shaft. It
should be a full radius end. This centers the rubber donut. It works like
a ball joint, allowing flex, but always keeping the two shafts centered.

If it has a flat spot on it, you found your source of vibration. The trans
will have to come out to fix. The mating cup on the short section of the
drive line will need to be replaced also.

When you reassemble, make sure you get the seal installed (a short piece of
rubber "tube" pushed on the end of the trans shaft) and that you have some
good moly grease in there and lots of it.
