Seal Swelling Oil Additive

Has anyone had any success with any of the seal swelling oil additives
out there?  Now that I've fixed the leak on the front side of the motor
(oil pump pulley seal), I'm noticing that my rear seal leak has gotten
worse as the weather has turned colder.   Were it not such a big job, I'd
pull the tranny and replace the seal, but I'm in no mood to rip the
tranny out of this thing right now.  I'm usually real hesitant about
using any oil additives, but if someone can convince me otherwise, I'm an
easy sell right now.
