Leaky Milano steering rack

Greetings Alfisti!

Well, I guess it's my turn.  My sort of leaking steering rack is leaking =
more and more.  All over the exhaust crossover pipe. No real harm but =
nice and smoky.  I do have to replace a torn boot on the left side so =
that may stem the flood somewhat.

Wasn't there a discussion about a seal repair kit ?  I'd love to try =
that before I have to rob the "duetto fund" for a rebuilt rack.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
