more on bumper over rides

I removed the bumper over riders from my 1974 GTV about ten years ago. I 
covered the exposed bolts on the rear bumper with 1750 GTV bumper trim 
designed for this purpose (in those days you could buy them new--maybe you 
could find some at APE?). Possibly you could find some stainless steel 
straps that could be shaped into covers? For the front bumpers I used 
round head carriage bolts with the intention of having them chromed at 
some date. I also changed the side marker lights.
PS: Andrew, maybe you have seen my car as I also live in the SF Bay Area.
