115 front wheel studs...

... ARE pressed into the rotor, not the hub. New disks, in fact, are or
were often sold with new studs already in place. The fact that the studs
are pressed into the hat portion of the rotor is what makes replacing
the rotors more painful than in some cars - you have to take the hub off
of the spindle to get the rotor out from behind it. The studs go through
the rotor hat, then the hub, and finally through the wheel and into the
lug nuts. The two flat-head screws visible when you remove the wheel are
NOT capable of conducting braking torque from the rotor to the hub.
