The actual Alfetta GTV Turbodelta for sale by the Astra team has to be the
one which entered the 1980 San Remo rally. I think there were at least two
cars like that, but the homologation of the evolution with large air scoops
on the bonnet was done only on july 1st., 1980. They may have raced 2 or 3
times in this configuration before retirement at the season end.

Yes, the asked price is very high, but for a completely retored car, unique
or almost unique, with such an apppeal and an history, I'm not upset. 

I don't recall well enough the example for sale in Classic Cars, but it had
to be a 1979 car, of which more examples were built.
