Re: New Alfa Romeo Book

Classic Motorbooks, a large mail-order automotive book seller
here in the States, mailed me a new catalog today. This was
no big occasion - they mail a new one to me about every two
weeks. Between their usual books on hotrods, and videos of
tractorpulls, they were featuring a NEW book on Alfa! It is
titled "Alfa Romeo - Always With Passion", written by David
Owen.

Anyone care to publish a review of this book? Yes, I know
that Owen has written several other books on Alfa - there
are two on my bookshelf, "Viva Alfa Romeo", and "Alfa
Romeo Spiders". I guess my question is whether "Always
With a Passion" is really new, or just another re-hash
of Alfa's racing history in the 20's and 30's, coupled with
a few pictures of postwar models. The price for this
book is 35 US$, plus I'm sure Classic Motorbooks adds
something for shipping, handling, tax, license, and
insurance. Oh, they are at www.motorbooks.com

Incidently, my favorite Alfa book is "The Alfa Romeo
Tradition" by Griffith Borgeson.
