164 Problem

Okay, new update on the 164L "knocking" noise.  I started my car this
morning and there was no noise.  Went to watch the SCCA guys run, parked
the car.  Upon starting the car, the knocking was back.  I guess since
the oil has thined (due to heat) brings the noise back, not real loud,
but enough to scare you.  Sounds like a main?

How difficult is it to pull the enigine on a 164?
