Milano/75 wheels vs. "new" FWD Alfa Romeo wheels

As much as I love Alfa Romeo, and want to patronize them as much as possible, 
I thought that the new Alfa wheels had an offset for FWD cars that was not 
friendly to RWD cars. Is this true or just internet rumors?
