Noise after clutch being worked on

I have a similar problem with my Spider.  Ever since a mechanic worked on
replacing the shaft in my clutch, I hear rattling-like noises similar to
what Vic described.  Except... mine is from the front.
The causes may be totally different since one's from the rear and one's from
the front,
but mine is also a "noise after clutch being worked on"...

Any advice for me too will be appreciated.
