Thanks for the answer on twin sparks.

I think you are saying that there are in fact 16 sparks per engine cycle rather
than 4 for straightforward 4 cyclinder engine?  I had thought from previosu
answers that the second plug was only used on the exhaust, but you are sayign
that both plugs are used on the fire and then on teh exhaust as well.

And these plugs already last 60,000 miles, which would be equivalent to 120,000
in a normal car?
