Perhaps in Europe, but in the US, my '81 Spider had a 20mm, as did my
'83 Spider before I replaced it with a 22mm.  Both cars had the brake
booster ("servo" on the other side of the pond). I suspect that the
change over occurred in the '80s since the GTV-6 used the 22mm MC, I
believe.

Bottom line - use either one.
