Franco etal..........the usual reason(s) for the throttle cable to fail a=
re:

1.  Poor gounding of engine so that current flows thru throttle cable..ch=
eck
the grounds.
2.  Poor alignment of cable/connector at firewall (passenger side) - shou=
ld be
straight line to linkage to throttles - stress =3D breakage.
