"Alfa, powered by Ford" is what the cam cover said.  But that is not the
first thing you notice.  That would be the quite large Holly carb sitting on
the top of the engine.  huh?  Could this be true?  Somehow, yes it is.

Under the very modified hood of a GTV, there was a 5.0l Ford V8.  And while
I don't condone this kind of work- it was a work of art.  Beautiful tubular
headers, custom inner fenders and bulkhead, huge radiator, a very nicely
welded overflow tank right behind it, Mustang rear end, very nicely detailed
WIDENED fenders.  I think the car lives in Windsor ONT, but you would have
to see it to believe it.

If you are at all a hot rod fan (and I'm NOT), you would love this car.  Oh,
I forgot the custom, mahogany dash cover....

This is what you miss when you don't come to the Italian Happening!
