4 Cylinder Engine Stand

I'm finally getting around to putting a new (to me) 1750 into my Spider
but I have a couple of tasks left to do that would be much easier with
an engine stand. I seem to remember reading that the cheap ones (Harbor
Freight) need some modifications to work. Can anybody provide some
details on the mods, I'm not a welder, or let me know where I can find a
stand that will fit my engine?
