Thought for the day

ALFAs are not expensive FIATs they are very cheap Ferraris.

Point of fact the Italians referred the GTV6 as a baby Ferrari (Ferrari
Bambino? presumably) and for the money they were unbeatable value, problems
and all.

Low oil pressure on a 164 gauge usually means get a new oil pressure
sender, not rebuild the engine. Please, let's have a little faith here. No
one believes Italian instruments...do they? Listen to that sort of ripping
of silk sound as the engine reaches redline (we're talking V6 here, the
fours sound a little more..er...earthy) and how can the low oil pressure
reading be relevant. Now if the little red light goes on that's different
(the oil light not the water temp which often goes screwy) but o'wise the
low pressure on the gauge is just a low gauge not low pressure.
