pulling spider axles

Doug K asks about a tool to pull spider axles from the rear end.

Doug, I've removed the axles from two spiders to replace rear wheel bearings
and didn't need any kind of tool to do it. Once you unbolt the retainer
plate there is nothing holding the axle in the rear end. Three of the four
came out with no resistance and the fourth took a little heavy handed
pulling. The resistance was just the outside of the bearing being a tight
fit into the rear end.

I can't guarantee yours will come out as easily but it's worth a try.
