re: Bent Wheels?

So you've bent a couple of wheels. If you like the ones that are bent,(or
cannot find suitable replacements) they, in all likelihood, can be repaired.
There is a place in a Los Angeles suburb called Tru-Wheel (sp?). They have a
reputation for being able to repair wheels that used to be trash can filler.
Big strides in that field.

I am going to them to find out if they can repair a couple of Ronal 15 x 7s on
my Alfetta. I did a swap for my 14s while my car was waiting for other stuff.
Didn't get on the road for awhile, but looked great in the garage. Once on
the road, I felt the shimmy. An attempt to dynamic balance showed the bad
news. Inmy case the repairs should (hopefully) be less expensive than
replacement, assuming that were possible.

I have seen ads for this type of repair in the back of the monthly mags, such
as Car&Driver or maybe Road&Track.

btw - Newer Alfas use a 98 mm bolt circle. Kinda odd in the land of 4" and
now 100 mm. Adds to the charm (which has leaked over my corner of the garage
<g>) HEY, it's only a joke. OK?

Best o' luck
