I bet Walter meant that the hundreds and hundreds of used Aflas in our corner 
of the globe, bought new over a period of years and years, are about equal in 
number to what Toyota sells between opening the store and lunchtime on a 
single day.  Yet the business overhead, being OBD compliant, DOT compliant, 
and the rates media charge for advertising, are about the same, ergo it 
doesn't make sense to try to sell a few Alfas because it's a money-losing 
proposition on the face of it.

Now, if an Alfa cost as much as a Ferrari, we would lose all the cheapos 
here, but at least there might be some profit in it!
