Hot '85 Spider

I have a 1985 Spider Graduate that is running a little warmer than usual.
Does the thermostat stick in these cars as it does in some of the British
Autos?

It never gets in the "Red" just warmer than usual, and not just from the
weather.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
