With regards to the cuttout switch burning out the fuel pump, I bypassed my switch on my GTV6 and
there was no problems with over a years use of the vehicle after the surgery.

My symptoms were always brought out by hitting expansion joints on the highway and fast accelerations
from dead stop.  The moment the bypass was completed no more stuttering and stalling.
