I also am ready to replace the original shocks on my milano (140K miles).
Another choice is the OE SACHS/BOGE shocks at $279 /4.  Koni's can be had
for cheaper $359 /4. These are quotes from www.shox.com. I haven't decided yet.
In my opinion, the OE shocks are very long-lasting and quite satisfactory
for street driving.
