Question: LSD unit for 1750?

Dear friends,

I have opportunity to buy new and unused (!) LSD (limited slip
differential) unit for my 1750 GTV. This unit that I am looking for, is
actually for the 2000 model, but I know that LSD has been as an option for
1750 also. 

The question is, are the rear axles similar in both models besides the
differential type and the ratio? If I have LSD unit from 2000, can I fit it
in 1750?
