melting exhaust systems

The last sentence tells much. Exhaust systems need to get hot to burn
off all the condensation that forms from a short run. Short warm up runs
will eat them up with acidic condensation (and rust loves that).

Alfa's OEM exhaust systems are very well built with the exception of
early USA center 164 exhausts, which were junk. New replacements are
excellent plus the bonus of being able to bolt on "S" mufflers.

Also, the new pricing coming out of ARI is VERY attractive. $82 List for
a Spider center exhaust? Not bad...
