RE: To Just a couple questions about 3.0 V6 modifications:

#1 low temp thermostat, I bought one and it is not a straight remove and
replace. It must be cut to fit. Can be bought at a local Pep
Boys, or Auto Zone because it is what they try to sell you for replacement.
I did not use it and wont, it will make the motor run rich.

#2 I used the tensioner and had no problem with it but when I rebuilt the
motor I used the updated version from ALFA. (Temperature censored instead of
oil pressure)

#3 I have both the ECU and the Super Sucker. I think the super sucker is
from a BMW. They work well but with the modifications I did to my motor I
had to readjust the flap to perform the way I thought it should. I think it
works well.

Don't do any to this unless you plan on changing the cam, at least an "S"
cam. All the air flow in is no good unless you can get the air flow out. So
think about a cam and exhaust also.

The cam is the real kick in the ass and everything else makes it work
better. You need the total package but I would start with the cam. Or this
may be a good place for your start.
