Hi Folks,

I have a 82 Spider and the fuel pump is controlled by two methods. 
During starting I believe the Fuel Pump is controlled by on of the two
Fuel Injection Relays.  Once started the Fuel Pump is controlled by a
signal from the coil.

The fuel pump does not continuously run while the engine is off and key
on.  The FP is not controlled by the Air Flow meter like the GTV6 and
Milano.  Ask me how I know all this.
