SALE: Perfect Verde Transaxle

*** VERDE TRANAXLE FOR SALE ***

I am moving by the end of month so I have a perfectly good
verde gearbox available for grab.

I've changed fluid every 30k miles on this box. And replaced again about
1500 miles before taking it off the car.

It shifts better than the plat w/ new synchro box I now have.

If you ask me which trans is better suited for 3 liter for general
use, I'd still go for the verde box. The big torquey engine handles
the verde gearbox just fine. Cuises easily at 3000 rpm and 80mph, or
as easy at 4000 rpm at around 110mph. Eazy passing power even with 5th
gear or a quick down to 4th for 1 lane road passing manuver.

Unless you are serious about racing the car, stay with verde box for 3
liter engine. They got too much torque and not as revy as 2.5s.

If you ask me why I am staying with plat box when I seem to prefer Verde box?
Well.. I am a check book mechanic and it gets expensive........

Ps. My Verde with plat box spins wheel badly at last ARA autox. I
then ran the entire course in 2nd gear and there was still some wheel spinning
coming out of last corner.
