removing V6 spark plugs

This,  from net impared friend Steve Barber :

Re V6 spark plugs, am I the last (or first) weekend mechanic to discover
that, in order to extract a loose plug from its hole when the rubber
"grabber" inside the plug socket fails to grab hard enough, a plastic
soda straw has the perfect diameter and rigidity to slip down over the
tip of the plug and lift it out cleanly! Neat trick!
