That one's certainly my favorite, especially since I own a white Giulietta
Spider. ;=) The car is a Giulietta. If you look real closely in the toll
booth/customs scene, there is a Duetto that drives by, which is an error
in chronology, as the movie is supposed to take place in 1962 or 1963. The
little Alfa gets a lot of exposure in "The Day of the Jackal".
Notice how the Jackal manages to total the car right after a paint job?
Sound familiar? ;=(
Actually, among the current generation of movie goers, the most mentioned
Alfa is probably the '69 Spider in "Wayne's World II" paying homage to "The
Graduate". I would also cite "The Italian Job" as being popular among car
nuts.
