Question on vacuum hookup

Can someone advise me on correct connection for the two vacuum lines to
the distributor from the throttle valve? I belive the lower hose is
direct vacuum and the upper is ported (timed)but I'm not sure on their
connection at the distributor.
Its smog check time.
