Performance headers on late 80's spiders...

Hi All,

My cat is giving up in my '89 spider and I was wondering if any
company offers a performance header and cat/conv combo
that would give me better performance and still maintain the 
proper emission control. 

Is it possible to just get a performance header for my year/model
and have Meineke or someone weld a generic cat to it. 
Any ideas or experiences appricated.
