Re: Alfetta trim for sale/trade

Andrew Watry writes "Alfetta sedan grille, from 77-78? car. PN
115.25.59.031.00 (this PN is confusing, but it did come off an Alfetta)"

Sho 'nuf confusing; the Alfetta "Short Spare Parts Catalog"("Catalogo
Rapido") printed in 1980 says the earliest first-series cars, which had a
narrow grill similar in appearance to the USA 1750, had a grill part number
11600.59031.01, while later first-series cars ('76 on) had a fat grill
similar in appearance to the USA 2000, with part number 11608.59031.50, and
the second series (78-79) had a more triangular grill number 11655.59031.00.

Watry's grille, 115.25.59.031.00 is the correct number for the grill from a
Giulia Nuova, which was evidently the origin of the late first-series grill
which was then renumbered before the Catalogo Rapido was printed.

His horizontal chrome grille trim are the upper and lower pieces of the six
used with the early narrow grill, if the book is correct.

While tracking this down I was surprised to find quite a few 116 part numbers
in the numerical index for the 105 2000 Berlina parts book. Confusion can
work both ways.
