Head re-torquing sequence

Silly question, sorry, but........ when doing the periodic re-torque on =
the Alfa twin cam engine, you loosen then re-torque the head nuts one at a =
time, but in which sequence please?  The loosening sequence shown in the =
manual or the tightening sequence?  I.e. the head-removal sequence or the =
head-refitting sequence?=20

(Alfa GTV and Alfetta.... both due for re-torque;
and Alfasuds...... no retorque needed......AFAIK...!!!)
