Duwanko, SUV flames are back !

>92 164S red
>98 Dodge Durango black (hauls large Alfa parts, looks mean)

Hmmm......It has been a while since the last SUV attack....

You are an Alfa guy, so this is hard, but sell the Duwanko! They are for
guys who think a backwards baseball hat and an SUV will give them a rugged
and personality-enhancing sporty image. Old pickups are better for hauling
car parts. You cannot put a V6 driveshaft in that Dodge, with all the carpet
and leather. And I bet that 4WD is used for 3 percent of the miles. Our
ancestors somehow raised families without SUVs ! But Suburbans are now
considered a must for most women in my neighborhood.

Alfas can also can be image tools, but at least they are fun to drive and
efficient. Unless you go to the Rubicon Trail, I cannot see how an
ill-handling, unsafe and slow SUV can be fun. And I do not know what you
mean by "mean". Hopefully, it does not mean intimidating others on the road
to yield to you because of size.

Here is a little page (33 points) that I concocted that explains why sports
car people should "Say No" to these "Minivans on Viagra". It is a free
country, so you can buy them, but every cell-phone yapping yuppie I see in a
Navigator gets me wandering at this waste and the silly display of
consumerism.

(I figured I would post this after the "'which oil to use thread", just to
ensure the prefect continuity and repeatability of topics and flame wars)
