RE:Spider Fraud

seeking sound council,

It's always sad to hear of someone getting 'screwed over', particularly in a
deal involving an emotional purchase like an Alfa. Having had a similar
experience, I can attest to the fact that the situation probably will not
get anything but worse. Unless all of the POs promises and claims are IN
WRITING, you are left with trying to enforce a verbal contract. Better if
there were witnesses, but still not an easy thing to prove. With written
backup you might obtain a court order, but then you are left to recover the
judgement - not an easy task without (expensive) legal help. You might
decide as I did to go for it anyway, thinking it will make you feel better
to hassle this jerk - it doesn't. Jerks, by nature, are immune to
embarassment. You will not make him feel any remorse, but you on the other
hand will experience much tension and frustration. Ascher, you have my
sincere sympathy.
