Let me make it clear in this public forum that I was only kidding with the 
"hardly speeding" crack.  In CA you can sometimes be stopped for a supposed 
infraction (speeding, running a stop sign, etc.) you DID NOT COMMIT because 
the type of car you're driving (or anything else under the sun) suggests you 
might do that and it offers an excuse to look for something else to pin a 
fine on (or worse) once the officer has you at a disadvantage rather than 
just in his sights as potential revenue on the hoof.
