another testimonial on GTV suspensions



To the poster regarding "upgrading" GTV suspensions, I agree with Bob Brady. 
I never ran a design of experiment matrix on my handling, with tires as one 
of the variables, as Bob did (see Bob, not really a flame, a sort of 
complement, yea, that's it!).

Our '69 has the Ward and Dean springs and rear bar, all new rubber suspension 
fittings, red Koni's, adjustable upper a-arms, 14x6 Minilites, 205/60 AVSi 
tires, and a limited slip from a '73. I am not much of a driver, but I've 
never broken the car loose with this set up. I tend to get wedged against the 
door or something.

I did get a nice four wheel drift going before I had the adjustable a-arms or 
the 205/60 tires, but not since. For this car, I am the weakest link, not the 
car. Now if that isn't an invite for some insults, I don't know what is ... 
start flaming away!
