re: Sluggish idle at start-up & Brake warnings

Mark,
I'm truly surprised that your "dealer" didn't check the frammenflotz
invigorator, as this is more often the cause of poor driveability at
start-up than some random choice of temperature sensor. You'll notice also
from past postings (downloadable with Majordomo commands) that devices like
malfunctioning "auxiliary air device" and sticky "air flow meter" have been
mentioned as responsible - nothing could be further from the truth, although
some things might be. Trust your Dealer, he/she is to be respected and
obeyed unquestioningly. I have found that it is best to immediately assume a
demure posture, head down and wallet laid wide open when in the presence of
any Dealer or Dealer's representative (yes, including the car wash boy). Do
not ever invoke a Dealer's ire, or you shall be severely punished and that,
without mercy!

Further to this, your dealer is absolutely correct (and I, personally, would
never suggest otherwise!) that replacing the instrumentation light bulbs
will cure all your ills. These bulbs, each a miniature work of art,
stunningly elegant in their simplicity, sell for a mere $10 ea.! AND, are
guaranteed to cure all your ills! In addition to the obvious (as stated by
the omniscient Dealer) they will rid your car of rust, double the fuel
mileage, make you more attractive to women and prevent balding!

Good Luck,

Jean Denis
