Alfisti,
I've got the oil pan off my '72 Spider and noticed the cigarette seals are =
shriveled up pretty good. I would like to know 2 things:
1) How to get them out? I've seen posted on the digest before (but can't =
remember) that someone used drywall screws? Any other tips to get them =
out?
2) How to get them in without the factory tool. All tips welcomed. Oil =
recommended to help insert, or hylomar, or other? Other tools needed to =
help insert (like a tube from a craft store) recommended?
The engine is in the car, and it looks like I have enough room to =
maneuver.
Thanks in advance - Karl
