the callaway gtv6 put out 245 hp, not sure about the torque. you have to
start getting pretty deep into the mods to get the 3.0 into that territory.
i seem to remember that in '85 or '86 when they were selling them new they
were the fastest 0-60 car sold in the us. my understanding was that there
were 35 made, but that could possibly include the two milanos.
that said, i'd agree that a 3.0 gtv6 is probably more practical, you can
certainly get to 245 hp with a 3.0 gtv6 for less money than it takes to buy
a callaway, and end up with less complexity.
still wouldn't throw a callaway gtv6 out of my garage..
