Mine was made to fit air cooled VW's. It came from Rex Brown at his
late lamented Maduko Motori parts store. I seem to recall the packaging was
that of a well known off road VW supplier, but I cannot remember the brand.
It is about three inches long with one hole in the middle and tips on each
end that fit into the flywheel teeth. Actually there are four tips, two on
each side with different spacing to fit different applications. It takes a
bit a wiggling to get it set correctly, but holds both four cylinder and
Milano flywheels quite well.

Subject: Fly Wheel Locking Tool......
Hi Fellow Digesters.....
I am looking for a US supplier for a Tool that can slip over a stud in the
rear of the engine block (with transmission removed) to
lock the fly wheel in place. I have seen this tool used on Alfa blocks
before, but I am unsure of source. Any leads?
Thanks
