It's Alive!

Greetings Digesters!

Last night Rich Hirsch of the St. Louis chapter came
by to help me get my '74 Spider back running.
I a happy to report that the machine fired up and Rich
was able to fine tune it and get it ready for the raod
again.

I'd like to thank Rich and Fred and the other digest
folks who helped me get the SPICA sorted out and the
car running. BTW my wife is now ready to take it off
my hands.

For those who say the club serves no purpose here is a
bit of proof that it is important to have this
resource and help network.

Now I have a couple of questions:

I read that someone used a Bosch disty on a car wihout
the Bosch ECU. Can anyone confirm this would work? I
have access to a Bosch Disty form an '83 Spider that
is restoration challenged (read smashed in the front
bad enough to be writen off).

Next question is about floor pans. Would the floor pan
of the '83 fit my '74? I'd like to get a new driver's
side floor pan for it. If not can anyone give me a
person or persons who would sell floor pans?

Thanks again for all the help and Rich thank you
again!

regards,

jkc
