While it surely is in order to pull a few chains down-under, not I:
Bertone.
This was (I think) a one-of from Bertone in the TZ era. Not absolutely
un-known, it was the center-spread in one issue of R&T, and I have a
slot-car (Aurora?).
Of course, it was beautiful.
Two distinctive marks: A series of horizontal largish rectangular
cut-outs behind the front wheel (I think these slots re-appear in the
Montreal), and the feeling of mass toward the rear of the car (hence the
designation, I would suppose)(if you recall design in that era, the
feeling of mass was toward the front -- as in the Sprint GT).
For the latter reason, I call it the most influential car which never was.
(Of cars built which look close, I'd say the Porsche 928 is as close as
anything got.)
