I'm a new Alfista

Folks, I hope you will indulge me to ask some dumb questions.  I've just 
bought an '84 Spider and next to nothing about Alfa's having been an MG man 
all my life.  I love how this car drives and runs (so far!), about all it 
needs, I think, is a paint job (clear coat went south as did the seats).   
First dumb question, is there a "Moss Motors" of Alfa?  Some one with a 
catalog showing all the parts and goodies.  Is the paint code given some 
where on the car?  Are the CD service manuals worth 50 bucks?  or what do I 
need in the way of documentation to keep the beast going?  I do most of my 
own work.

More dumb questions will develop....meanwhile, you guys say "Ciao"  right??
