Nardi wheel and hub info needed

A non-digester sent me the following to be asked on the digest...

" I just purchased a Classic Nardi steering wheel and hub for my 72 spider.
The problem is the hub (ND4302.00.0104) sits up from where it should by
about 3/4 of an inch. I can put my fingers between the column cover and the
hub. The wheel seem to be in the right place for the rest of the controls.
All the suppliers swear that it's the correct hub. Any Info out there?
Interestingly a 72-74 GTV uses a different hub (ND4302.00.0107), Not in
stock!!!. Help!!!!!!!!!! Thanks"
