Re: 164 exhaust recommendation



I had the same sort of rust, and was fortunate in buying  "used"(very 
little from what I could see) center and rear Stebro mufflers from a 
fellow digester. If you want a more noticeable powerful engine sound--get 
a set! I "think" I may have a bit more power, but that may be because the 
sound is impressive. Dan Petschenig at Stebro was very helpful, sending 
me at a low cost an installation kit. The workmanship is superb--good 
looking enough to have it be a shame that the mufflers are hidden under 
the car!
