Dear John, (oh, I couldn=B4t resist to smile inwardly as this is the
                      name of humoristic series) :-)

I recommend if there is the slightest suspicion about burned bulbs
that you get spare ones in advance (if possible). So you avoid the
trouble of disassembling the panel twice.

You are welcome.

Best regards,
                    Rajko

GENERAL REFLECTION - NETIQUETTE

When I have some hands-on experience (even though I am
complete amateur) I am glad if I can help with the advice
provided the same problem has not been addressed yet or
not too often).=20

Of course many problems arise again and again in different forms
and to different persons, and it is almost nothing wrong if the
person in trouble asks. This is one of basic reasons for this forum
to exist.

HOWEVER, "almost nothing" refers to situations that repeat not
too often.

For instance, in 2 years since I am on-line with the Alfa
Digest, more than 10 times I have read the questions like:

"I am going to buy Alfa 164, please advise me on pros and cons."

I am not annoyed with it neither have I complained about it until now.
This is for the first time but I am appealing for all Digesters to =
check
Frequently Asked questions first and only then to pose the
question (about Alfa 164 see below for other models elsewhere):
=20
/alfa/FAQ/164/notes0.htm

This solicitation is nothing unusual, as a matter of fact it is=20
common policy with most HelpDesks world-wide.

If this does not help, what shall I do? Nothing, I'll just skip
to next post, and, occasionally I'll refer the questioner to
the answer that had been written before his question was.

P.S.
I'd like to stress here that I am aware of the extreme patience,
kindness and knowledge of mr. Di Matteo whose attitude
seems to me an ideal worth following as much as our
(limited) time allow us to.
