condenser fan always running

I am in desperate need of help with a problem with the condenser fan on my
87 spider. THe 30 amp fuse kept popping, so I put in a new fuse holder as
they are prone to failure and I fixed the wire that had worn through
where it is wrapped around the a/c lines near the bumper.

The fan continually runs if I put in a fuse. I know it should run when
the car is hot, but the car has not been run and is competely cool. In
traffic the car runs about 10 degrees warmer than normal because of the
lack of auxillary air from the condenser fan. Does anyone know what may
be causing the fan to continually run. All A/c controls are off. COuld
it be the fan itself or a relay? I detached one of the wires which is
attached to the under hood temperature sensor on the fan shroud and the
fan still came on when I put in a fuse. So, I think the sensor is okay.

Thanks,
Chris
