Hi Gang!
Hi V6'ers!
The thing also happened to me.....
I have just 4 V6 engines (3 on cars and one lying around).
In 3 the normal sockets fit, in the 4th it's too tight.... most
standard sockets don't fit.... I went to all the tools shops (BETA,
HECOM and other brand names included) with a measuring "something"
(peckliss??) and could not find any socket that fits that damn car.
BTW, the engine is on a late model GTV6 (late 86)........
But you can be sure the only tool that fits is a tube from a Jap
car...... well a big pain for number 6!!!!!!!!
Will get a Alfa 90 (86 or later...) today and will check......
Paulo
TOO MANY ALFAS to Listz.
oops....
;-)

<< Just replaced the cap, rotor and plugs. The plugs turned out to
be more of
a challenge than anticipated due to the near equal inside diameter
of the
access tubes and the outside diameter of my plug socket >>
<<Do yourself a favor and buy another plug socket. I have a couple a
they both
fit the access tubes perfectly to place or remove the plugs easily.>>
