well, i think there must be something SERIOUSLY wrong with your 164!
i drive to & from work & other activities on small quite windey & often
bumpy roads, to get the same level of an exciting drive, i can drive the
spider ~50 or the 164 ~70mph.  & i'd be doing a lot more sliding on sharp
turns in the spider where the 164 is essentially skidproff.  the spider
with its solid rear axle is terrible on bad pavement too. and then there's
acceleration - if your 164 doesn't rev in any gear at any speed at what
seems like at least twice as fast as the spider, you've got an incredible
spider, or a bad 164.      jak
